Sheikh Khalil Al Harthy is an experienced founding partner with a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. He is skilled in business planning, operations management, HR consulting, coaching, and entrepreneurship. From 1992 to 2003 he worked as a portfolio manager for the Central Bank of Oman and from 2003 to 2010 as assistant general manager for Al Ahlia Insurance Oman. In 2010 he founded the Performance Factory, a management consulting firm. He holds a BS in finance from the University of New Orleans with a double-minor in MIS and management.
Dr. Ashraf Mishrif, the Research Chair holder. The OCCI was represented by Dr. Ahmed Al Hooti, the Chairman of its Economic Affairs, Research & Studies Committee and Mr. Mohammed Al Hussaini, Director of the OCCI's Economic Research & Studies Department.
Lo'ai B. Bataineh is the CEO of Ubhar Capital. He founded the Investment Management Group of Oman Arab Bank in 1998. He is an accomplished banker, having played an instrumental role in the development of key services like asset management, brokerage, corporate finance and advisory, custody, wealth management, research, and back-office operations. He has led IMG in winning several awards including Best Brokerage for the last consecutive 6 years, Oman Web Awards, and recently Best Investment Bank Oman 2010, 2011, and 2013 from World Finance Magazine together with Best Banking Group Oman 2011. He has a degree and master's in money and banking.
Elena Barreiro Perez has been the Country Director for The Business Year in Oman for three years. She has over 10 years of experience in communications, marketing, and business development for both corporations and media companies. She graduated from ESIC Business School with a master's degree in international business. Whilst in the field, she has established relationships with business leaders and led countless high-profile presentations and interviews with executives, ministers, investors, and other politicians around the world. She has successfully managed projects in France, the Dominican Republic, the UAE, Lebanon, and Oman.
Gabriele De Leva is the Country Editor for The Business Year: Oman 2020. In his capacity as Country Editor, he focuses on countries' economic growth plans, investment strategies, company profiles, and regional and global integration policies. Before his current experience in the Sultanate, Gabriele successfully completed projects in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ghana, and Nigeria, merging his interests for political, strategic, and financial risk, developed working for a Swiss conflict-resolution firm and US insurance brokerage company. A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, he holds a double major in international security and diplomatic studies with a GPA of 3.91. In 2013 he was awarded a special mention by the President of the Republic of Italy for his academic achievements.

Dr. Alfadhal A. Alhinai is a results-orientated and entrepreneurial-minded leader with 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He is the CEO of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as an active member of the Governance Committee Oman 2040, a board member of the Oman Tower Company, and CEO and founder of AMAN Investment.
