La Clave Para el Desarrollo en Iberoamerica: CPPs

La pandemia de coronavirus ha puesto de manifiesto la necesidad de la relación público-privada para la recuperación económica. La pandemia está teniendo severas consecuencias en la economía española y en Latinoamérica, las cuales van a requerir de actuaciones contundentes en política económica que garanticen la resiliencia de la región de cara al futuro.

Es nuestra charla con las principales agencias de inversión de Ibero-América, analizaremos las cuestiones de gobernanza relacionadas con la colaboración público privada, profundizando en las capacidades estratégicas y operativas para identificar, diseñar, organizar e implantar los modelos de colaboración más aconsejables para el momento global de reconstrucción al que nos enfrentamos.

Algunos de los temas a tratar serán los sectores relevantes para la recuperación, las estrategias para restaurar el tejido productivo, recuperar los índices de empleo, proteger a las empresas, asegurar mecanismos de seguridad jurídica, estudiar rentabilidades razonables para atraer inversores y sobretodo, crear nuevas colaboraciones estratégicas entre Latino América y España.

Elena Barreiro Perez has been the Country Director for The Business Year in Oman for three years. She has over 10 years of experience in communications, marketing, and business development for both corporations and media companies. She graduated from ESIC Business School with a master's degree in international business. Whilst in the field, she has established relationships with business leaders and led countless high-profile presentations and interviews with executives, ministers, investors, and other politicians around the world. She has successfully managed projects in France, the Dominican Republic, the UAE, Lebanon, and Oman.

Xiana Margarida Méndez has a degree in law and business administration and management from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. In 2004 she became a civil servant of the Spanish administration as a member of the Corps of Trade Experts and Economists. She began her professional career in 2004 at the Servicio de Defensa de la Competencia of the Ministry of Economy. Between 2013 and 2015, she held various positions in the General Directorate of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Economy, specialized in the transport and infrastructure sectors and official credit. From August 2015, she was the Economic and Trade Counselor of the Embassy of Spain in Quito, and since June 2018 she has been the Secretary of State of Commerce of Spain.

Núria Vilanova has a degree in information sciences and PADE from IESE. She is the founder and president of ATREVIA, the largest global communications and strategic positioning company in Spain, with a team made up of almost 400 people and offices in 15 countries in Europe and America. She is also the president of the Business Council Alianza por Iberoamérica (CEAPI), an association that groups together the presidents of the largest Ibero-American companies. In addition, she is a director of the Navarra Business Confederation (CEN) and a director of Coquecol in Colombia.

María Peña Mateos has a degree in science, economics, and business, with a specialization in international and development economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since July 2018 she has been CEO of ICEX Spain Export and Investments, an entity in which she previously held the position of general director of institutional cooperation and coordination. She has developed her career in various positions of state, mainly in the fields of economy and commerce. She has also served as cabinet director of the Secretary of State of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce and economic and commercial advisor to the embassies of Spain in Senegal, Morocco, Uruguay, and the Ivory Coast.

Carlos Martínez, posee una triple licenciatura en Periodismo, Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas por la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Inició su carrera trabajando en diversas revistas y periódicos y en 2010 se incorporó a Telefónica Movistar, trabajando para el departamento de comunicación interna. Su siguiente paso llegó cuando se trasladó al departamento de Digital Business de Iberia, donde dirigió el proyecto Iberia Holidays junto a British Airways. Después de más de 3 años en Iberia, Carlos se unió, en 2015, al grupo internacional The Business Year, trabajando como Country Editor y Project Director y viviendo en países como Kazajstán, Sharjah, Dubái, Costa Rica, Líbano, Colombia y Panamá. Después de 3 años, cambió su rol al de Country Manager de Portugal y España y en 2019 pasó a ser Director Regional para Europa y África, gestionando más de 13 mercados.
