Special Report: Mallorca launch event

After the successful publication of the The Business Year - Special Report Mallorca, we gather again key stakeholders of the Mallorcan economy to publicly present to the local business community the outcome of our research, as well as to discuss the key trends shaping the economic development of the island in the future. The event was held at Finca Biniagual and featured opening remarks by TBY’s Regional Director, Ms. Ioana Popa, followed by the President of the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB), Ms. Carmen Planas and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, Mr. Antoni Mercant.

Afterwards, a roundtable was held with representatives of companies with great presence in the island: KPMG Baleares, Banco Sabadell Urquijo Private Banking, Engel & Völkers and Garden Hotels. Additionally, the Mallorca-based communication consultancy firm DISSET briefed the audience one of the main topics that will shape the development of the island's economy: the NextGenerationEU funds.

The event ended with a wine tasting provided by the vineyard of Biniagual, and an excellent finger-food selection offered by AIRE catering.
